Science (Biological Sciences & Coastal Sustainability) Marine Ecosystems and Environmental Stewardship: The Moreton Bay shoreline is a dynamic marine environment, making it a perfect open-air science lab. Learning Outcome: Identify how human actions and marine regulations impact local tidal habitats. Students will learn about sustainable "catch and release" protocols, proper fish handling techniques that protect a fish's protective slime layer, and how to identify local target species versus pests.
